I am David H. Jouvenat, owner of ReJouvenater Electronics, where our motto is "Don't Junk It, Rejuvenate It".
At the age of 12, My friend, Carl Reuter, and I provided
minor repair work on neighborhood televisions and record players. By
combining our names, the two of us called ourselves
“ReJouvenater” which includes both names. Although we
no longer work together, we remain good friends and the name stuck.
While attending college, I worked part time in the TV repair
business. I opened a store in Briargate in 1991 and called it
ReJouvenater Electronics. Due to high rent costs, I had to close
my store front in 2006. My shop is currently located in a
residential area S.E. of Chapel Hills Mall.
Although ReJouvenater Electronics can be found in the DEX phone book
under Television - Parts & Service, I do more than simply repair
televisions. Repair work is available for all types of electronics,
from stereos, speakers and yes, VCRs. I also provide video
conversion service – Tape to DVD, Vinyl to CD, etc.
Some customers elect to buy new instead of having a unit repaired. Therefore, I find myself with numerous “Excellent”
TV’s for sale. Older TV’s that have been
reconditioned will most likely outlast many of the newer
TV’s being sold today. Yes, “older” is sometimes better when it comes to quality!!
Repair costs for ReJouvenater Electronics are very competitive. The
cost of repair work is variable, but most major work runs from $65 to
$100. I give a free verbal estimate at the time the unit is brought in
for repair. However if the unit goes on the bench, I must charge an
up-front deposit of $20, which is applied to the repair. VCR
Cleanings, which provide basic maintenance and diagnostics, still cost
$20.00.
If
your looking for an honest repair shop, fair prices, good work, quick
turn times, then ReJouvenater Electronics is the shop for you.
